Linocut Printing Course 4-Week Course | Led by Victoria Willmott at Centrespace Studio Wednesday Evenings 6-9pm | All materials provided | Open to all abilities Join artist and printmaker Victoria Willmott in this 4 week course dedicated to Lino Printmaking. This course offers an exciting opportunity to explore a range of techniques including single colour prints, multiblock prints, and jigsaw printing to produce colourful original prints. The course takes place at Bristol Print Collective's new studio space located in the first floor of Centrespace Studios. You'll learn how to design, carve and print lino using hand printing methods as well as with a printing press. Whether you're new to printmaking or looking to expand your skills, this course encourages creativity, curiosity, and playful experimentation. What we will cover on the course: Tools, Materials & Printing Methods Get to grips with essential tools and materials, experiment with mark making with lino. Print with a variety of methods, your tutor will share tips on how to achieve desired results hand burnishing and using a press. Multi Block Printing - Two Colour You'll be introduced to multi-block printing to learn how to create layered images using two separate blocks for each colour. Jigsaw Lino Printing Explore the exciting possibilities of jigsaw printing, cutting into the lino from a single design to make multiple colours from one block. Each session will build your confidence in design, carving, and inking while giving you the freedom to develop your own style. You'll leave with a portfolio of prints and a deeper understanding in relief printmaking processes. Full course dates: 4 Weeks on Wednesday evenings 6-9pm 29th April, 6 May, 13 May, 20 May
