Drawing Techniques Workshop 18th March 5-6.30pm Join us for this experimental drawing workshop as we explore the change in seasons, celebrating the biodiversity that can be seen in spring. This workshop is aimed at all abilities from complete beginners to the more experienced creative. All you need is paper and pencils to experience the different ways of mark making. DIY Colourful Drypoint Printmaking Workshop 25th March 5-6.30pm Ever wondered how you can print an intaglio plate at home? Well, join us for an evening of unconventional printmaking using a handy press. Taking our drawings, we will guide you through making a drypoint plate and printing it at home incorporating coloured tissue paper. This is one of our favourite workshops, we can’t wait to teach you how you can use this unique process in the comfort of your own home. Botanical Printmaking 1st April 5-6.30pm This workshop is a fun, experimental workshop using household and natural materials to produce exciting, bold prints. All you need is to forage outside for natural fallen leaves and then forage in the kitchen cupboards for a pasta maker and a tetra pack (for example an empty Oatly carton). You’ll learn how to make monoprints and use your pasta maker as a printing press. Your prints will tell a story of your own collected plants, highlighting the delicacy and beauty of our natural world. Use this process to capture the quality and textures of natural forms. Feel inspired working from nature and post your prints online to raise awareness of our precious planet. A zoom link and material list will be sent out before the workshop begins. 20% of sales will be donated to WWF to support their continued tackle of the main problems that are driving nature’s decline. Your support and kindness ensure future generations have a world with thriving habitats and species.
