Drypoint at Jemma's studio

Service Description

Spend the day exploring the wonders that is intaglio printmaking! Drypoint belongs to the intaglio family where incised lines are formed with a range of abrasive tools to create a burr that will hold ink. Drypoint printmaking offers the creation of unique mark making characteristics. During this workshop Jemma will show you the many tools and substrates that can be used to create lively and interesting intaglio plates. A day of experimenting and playing will be had, in order to equip you with the knowledge of how you can continue making at home. - All materials included, just bring inspiration to work from. It might still be a bit chilly in Jemma's studio in March so please wrap up warm! Hot drinks will be provided.
