Botanical Printmaking with a Pasta Press

  • Starts Apr 1
  • 12 British pounds
  • Online Class

Service Description

This workshop is a fun, experimental workshop using household and natural materials to produce exciting, bold prints. All you need is to forage outside for natural fallen leaves and then forage in the kitchen cupboards for a pasta maker and a tetra pack (for example an empty Oatly carton). You’ll learn how to make monoprints and use your pasta maker as a printing press. Your prints will tell a story of your own collected plants, highlighting the delicacy and beauty of our natural world. Use this process to capture the quality and textures of natural forms. Feel inspired working from nature and post your prints online to raise awareness of our precious planet. A zoom link and material list will be sent out before the workshop. 20% of sales will be donated to WWF to support their continued tackle of the main problems that are driving nature’s decline. Your support and kindness ensure future generations have a world with thriving habitats and species.
