We were very excited to run this two day course in Botanical Printmaking at UWE Bower Ashton as part of the Centre for Fine Art Printmaking Research Summer Programme. We started the first day drawing on location in the beautiful grounds of Ashton Court and then foraged in the woodlands and grasslands in the deer park. In the afternoon we printed using our favourite make-shift pasta machine print presses. Fantastic results and such an array of plant collections! Then on the second day we used the large etching presses to further develop prints with colours and large paper. A really productive two days and wonderful exploration in print.
